BY CAR

Besides federal roads, Muar is also accessible via the North-South Expressway through the Tangkak and Pagoh interchanges exits which are located 20 km and 30 km from the town, respectively.

if you are driving from Kuala Lumpur on the North South Expressway ( NSE ), take the Tangkak exit (intercanges 235) and drive on past Sg. Mati and Parit Bunga ( on highway 23 and 5). Muar town is about 27 km from the Tangkak exits. If you are driving from the Johor Bahru, take exits at Pagoh and head to the Muar town.

BY BUS

Known as Muar Terminal ( Bentayan Bus Station)

Located at the Muar river bank. The bus station was recently undergoing renovation to upkeeping the bus station condition be better and comfortable for all the people who want use the bus transportation. The platform and waiting area are looking brighter and refreshing after the renovation.

Mayang Sari Express is the headquarter and bus depot are at Muar. Hence, Mayang Sari Express is the largest bus operator in Muar bus terminal, in term of the number of bus trips leaving the bus station. Besides Mayang Sari Express, Maharani Express, KKKL, and Transnasional also offer the bus services departing from Muar bus terminal.
