The royal town of Muar in north-western Johor has been declared the cleanest tourist city in Asean.Muar district officer Onn Jabbar said the Asean Clean Tourist City Standard Award 2017, which they received last month, was expected to boost tourism in the district.There are many attractions in the town, especially for those interested in pre-war buildings that line the streets in Muar town. The town of Muar, Malaysia is a lively place with a rich history and culture. One of the most popular tourist attractions in the country, it is noted for offering delicious food and coffee as well as impressive historical sites and surrounding with clean 

environment.

Muar also known as a nice and beautiful place  by the sea side . Quiet a crowded and happening place especially during weekends . A lot of attraction such as eating places , kids playground and boat cruise for sight seeing . Not to miss mee bandung at the nearby food court at this park. The park is surrounded by historical buildings such as Sultan Ibrahim Mosque which was built in 1887 the first Muar jamek mosque.

Beside that,Muar also have Dunho park which   is a park that located nearby Muar 2nd bridge. No entrance fee charge. Suitable for kids so that they can enhance their imagination. The replica of dinosaur seems like real. Some of them can move and make sound. Some are stagnant. Rm5 for indoor dinosaur motor ride. Have small cafe inside and shops that sell lots of dinosaur merchandise.Kids would  love this kind of entertainment.

A good taste of coffee only at  Sai Kee Kopi 434,a  nice place to have coffee in the center of Muar town. The coffee was good and bought variety of instant coffee packets. This cafe is the one that produce coffee brand "Kopi 434" where you can find it in most supermarkets.A cool cafe with unique interior decoration and good ice coffee especially to quench your thirst on a hot and humid afternoon in Muar town.

For those who exciting to try new food should go to Muar because Muar has many delicious food for example  Kambing 40Hari,known as fast services, the nasi arab is delicious, worth of travel from KL. Anyone want to try expected many people when arrived, but you dont have to wait for long time because as it mention the services is fast,another place should visit  is Muar soup house  also  offering you to tried the mutton soup and beef stomach soup. Taste rather similar but it's good and rich with plenty of spices. Price is acceptable and many locals hang out here. The staff were quite friendly as well and very recommend if anyone  who want to have good malay style soup.

The R&H Cafe are one that  was recommended to come for a true authentic Johor breakfast ,an authentic Johor breakfast included satay for breakfast.Proud to be one of the cafes around that was graced by the Sultan of Johor, a fact that has been photographed, framed and placed the wall of the cafe.Next places that everyone should try is Mee bandung Udang Galah. It is so delicious and the food here is cooked to perfection. Good pricing and good service too. Spicy gravy and very filling too. It is located in a Malay residential area across the Muar Bridge. It is definitely a MUST EAT  for each time visit Muar.
