3. SULTAN IBRAHIM JAMEK MOSQUE
This is the oldest mosque in Muar and you will be amazed by its intricate architecture and constructed between 1925 and 1930. The minarets are truly a sight to behold, so take some time to walk around the mosque and take them all in. The porticoes and balconies are beautifully adorned too. There is a fountain just right outside the mosque, and you’ll want to snap a picture of the magnificent fountain artwork.

visitors have been thronging the unique park.

ATTRACTION PLACES IN MUAR
1. TANJUNG EMAS PARK

2. SULTAN ISMAIL BRIDGE
This particular bridge is an iconic landmark in
Muar. If you’re driving through this stretch, you should stop for a while at
the foot of the bridge and admire its unique architecture. It was completed in
1967 and officially opened to the public during the time of Almarhum Sultan Sir
Ismail Al-Khalidi ibni Almarhum Sultan Sir Ibrahim Al-Masyhur, the late Sultan
of Johor the same year. Initially, it was a toll bridge but after objections by
the public, the Malaysian government abolished the toll collection. Now, people
can pass freely, connecting more parts of Muar more conveniently.

4. MUAR CLOCK TOWER
Muar clock tower is one of the famous attractions in
Muar. It is considered as a local landmark in Muar. It is situated in the
garden at the new park called Padang Nyiru, which is very near the Muar Bus
Terminal.
The old English architecture is what makes the clock distinctive and unique,
it is painted in white and yellow and is very distinctive from afar. The stairs
in the tower are all padlocked for safety measure.

5. LUKISAN MURAL "THE LOVING SISTER"
The
Loving Sisters Mural is a large wall mural in Muar, Johor. It graces a wall
beside Veej Uniforms Concept Store at Jalan Arab, near the Muar Roundabout. The
mural was painted by 28-year-old Russian mural artist Julia Volchkova.
Sponsored by Aking Advertising & Signcraft Sdn Bhd, a local advertising
agency, the mural measures close to 12 meters tall by 10 meters wide, and was
completed in ten days, on 17 July, 2016.
The
Loving Sisters mural was painted with two young local girls as the subject.
They are 7-year-old Nur Najwa and her 3-year-old sister Nur Najiyah Amani, whom
Volchkova met when she was at Dataran Tanjung Emas.
The
mural was officiated by Datuk Tee Siew Kiong, the Johor State Executive
Committee Member in charge of Tourism, Commerce and Consumerism on 18 July,
2016. That same day it was inscribed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the
biggest portrait mural in the country.

6. THE MUAR STATE RAILWAY (MSR)

The Muar State Railway (MSR) or the Muar Government
Railway is recorded in history as one of the earliest transports in the
country, connecting this town to the Pulai River near Parit Jawa as far as 22.5
kilometers fully operational from 1889 to 1925.
The existence of the MSR thus became the second
railroad network in the country after the first runway connecting Port Weld or
Kuala Sepetang to Taiping was opened in 1885.

7. PANTAI LEKA
Still in the vicinity of Muar town, you can visit
Leka Beach located in Parit Jawa. The beach with this fisherman's village
promises very beautiful scenery especially at sunset. This Leka beach is also a
bird sanctuary where migrating birds. Paradise to those who like to take
pictures, Beach Leka promises the viewers of the fishing village to set the sun
setting beside the unique bird species that can be a very valuable collection.
There is also a mangrove forest area rich in wildlife. And if you are hungry
after a tired day walk, you can enjoy spicy sour dishes (yes, still sour spicy)
in the appetite field here while enjoying the breeze and the straits of the
Melaka Straits.

Heng said he spent RM10, 000 to RM30,000 for a
dinosaur statue depending on the size, ordered from an acquaintance in
Guangzhou, China. Heng, 35, said he did not charge visitors any fee and the
public were always welcome to visit the park.
The dinosaur theme park that opened in September
2016 certainly offers 1,001 experiences not only for children but also adults
who want to hold and portrait with the living animal.
Not only live dinosaurs, the theme park are also
filled with over 30 animal statues including the Tyrannosaurus Rex species.

9. LADANG HERBA NASUHA

Probably not be the real paradise but this is the deal that you surely don’t want to be missing it. About 45 minutes by drive from Melaka Town, this 1500 hectare herbs & spices farm based at Muar, Johor will fascinate you with unique smell of the allspice, cinnamon and eucalyptus tree planted.
